SFO Secrets

First secret is the best website for the frequent flyer community is flyertalk.com. They have 10 million posts and I have taken it upon myself to scan them 24/7 and provide tips for our modest community. Todays post is based on an interesting thread over there – Best Kept Secrets at Airports

SFO secrets:

1. A great museum, distributed between 21 locations throughout the airport. Its free and covers a full range of interests from Scandinavian Modernism to Early Airline Route Maps. Kids get a small aquarium and mini-science museum!

2. Meditation (and quiet) at the Berman Reflection Room in the International Terminal

3. Nice day – go outdoors, walk along the bay and watch the planes taking off (hopefully, not yours). Two spots -

  • Trail along the bay starting behind the Costco store at 451 Airport Blvd (get there by the Fox Rent a Car Shuttle)
  • Peninsula Park off Anza Blvd (take the Embassy Suites shuttle – tell them you are meeting me there.

Feel free to contribute your own here or on flyertalk or both.
